A group of apparent robbers invade a supermarket in a small town and start testing the people they have hostage in search of something--of course the mystery of what that something may be is ruined by the movies title. This all leaves you guessing (at least for a small bit) as to who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. This movie has a good amount of blood and death, mainly from the chaos of the team of robbers when they first enter the store, but it slows after that.
This is really not a bad movie, as it has an interesting concept, but largely poor execution. The acting is pretty bad, with the exception of Carlos Bernard (24) as the leader of the group. There are times--a lot of times--when you scratch your head and wonder if somebody could possibly be as dumb as some of the characters in this film. When you finally get to see the aliens, there really is not much to see, as they are largely hidden in the darkness. It also goes with a “surprise” ending that will likely surprise nobody. The first twenty minutes and the last fifteen minutes of the movie are pretty good, but the middle feels like exactly what it is: filler. Skip this one.
