Northern Ireland brings us this little horror film, titled Red Mist here in the States. A group of medical students pick on a geek named Kenneth. One day they take their tomfoolery a bit too far, resulting in Kenneth slipping into a coma. Fearing loss of their scholarships, the group drops Kenneth off at the E.R. instead of helping him themselves. One of the students, Catherine (Arielle Kebbel), feels bad about it and tries to help Kenneth with a new, untested drug. Things go bad, however (this IS a horror movie after all) and the drug allows Kenneth to have out of body experiences and posses others bodies to exact revenge on the students. This is a pretty enjoyable film in spite of reminding me a bit of the worst Friday The 13th movie ever made. A little gore, fairly good acting and a twist and turn here and there make for a decent movie.
